Feast on your life -

Fill your plate with your favourite tastes

feast and refill at your own pace,

you may glance at another’s plate

but do not long to have a taste.

Do not taste from another's plate

for their palette brings a different spread,

and their life is their own to tread.

Craft dishes of your own spice and add-ons

savour them before they’re cold,

do not let your feast go to waste

by indulging in another’s plate.

Eat too much and you’re sluggish and tired-

gluttony is one of cardinal sins-

fill up your plate, but not to the brim

take a break to catch your breath

and let your hunger for life refill your plate.

When dishes of varied tastes make up a plate,

to eat becomes an enriching feat,

each bite would bring bundles of joy,

and flavours blend to match your beat.

Your beat is yours and yours alone,

one none can copy, none can cook

hence do not long to have a taste

from another’s plate, another’s dish.

A balanced diet equals a fulfilled life,

have lots on your plate, eat one at a time

a little bit of everything, all flavours you like -

feast on your burning appetite for life.

Second, the central message about self-focus is so clear. As I initially understood, the idea that we must 'plate with every essence of our life blending in the right flavor' reinforces the need to craft our own unique life dish.

Finally, the lines 'Your beat is yours and yours alone, one none can copy, none can cook' serves as…
