She lie on the white white snow,
her eyes wielding a faint glow,
the moonlight glimmering off her hazel eyes,
a faraway look, longing for the skies.
There she lie, her soft breathing,
and wintry air, a misty wreathing,
her black locks spread on the snowy berth,
bedded with lilacs, a child of Earth.
Her arms rested on her beating heart,
palms down, fingers slightly apart,
her full lips, as red as rose,
open and close, a song arose..
Lying there, on the white white snow,
beneath the starry night, a distant glow,
she sings out her heart and soul,
with nature now, she becomes whole.
The pine trees around break into dance,
night creatures come out as in a trance,
her angelic voice, her mystic gleam,
pulls you in like a dream, it seem!
She sings,
"A flowery meadow in a far off land,
among the birds and blooms, I stand,
the light of the sun caressing my face,
I lose myself in that magical place.
As I lay on the cold winter's snow,
I dream of a spring that'll soon show,
one that'll wash away the pain,
and
at last, I could fly again."
An angel she was, banished from heaven,
Amara is the name she was given,
sent to Earth as a beautiful woman,
to live a mortal life as a human.
Though she fell in love with the trees,
the stream, the birds and buzzing bees,
her life here was filled with ache,
the retribution for her past mistake.
With spring came hopes to be free
of her pain, suffering and agony,
when at home she can finally be,
ending the lesson of her felony.
